11.11.11ELEVEN - online arts venueELEVEN Presents 11 new works yearly online by selected artists, ranging from dance film over text and sound to still photography. Works may be static, audio only, visual only or fully interactive text based or mulimedia. The only criteria is that works are new and electronic in nature, either through the materials used in the creation or by the nature of their presentation on the site. ELEVEN may include the cinema of movement, dance on screen / screendance, dance film, or purely static text, audio or image based works - although works will tend to be based around dance and movement material.Description:ELEVEN is an online arts project conceived by Mikkel Svak and run by Mikkel Svak (Afterglow Dance Company and Choreografilm) and Hakan Redjep (HR Artworks).ELEVEN requires an up to date version of Flash to display correctly and may not display on some mobile devices.General information: ELEVEN questions the need for online content to be eternal and specifically limits access to all works it presents to one month only. By visiting www.eleven.org.uk audiences can experience the artwork on show that month.The site will deliberately be void of any additional information allowing the artwork to exist in its own right and for no other purpose.
